Resilience in Motion

A 1,650km endurance journey across regional Australia.
Swimming the Darling River for MND, PSP, and Parkinson's awareness.

Over 12 weeks, the swim becomes a moving platform for awareness, fundraising, and national storytelling.

MND, PSP, and Parkinson's are devastating, progressive, and currently incurable. Fight the Current exists to bring visibility and funding where it is most needed.

Meet Scott Gladman

Scott Gladman is a lifelong regional Australian. A family man, farm manager, and community leader shaped by hard work and the rugged landscape.

Then in 2017, at just 54, he had a health scare that stopped him in his tracks. Three stents later, he made a full recovery — and a decision. Feeling he had more to give, more to achieve, Scott chose to take life head on.

"Fight the Current is that decision in motion."
